Jacob's basketball season will come to a close with his final game coming up this Saturday. All the boys did a great job and worked together well as a team. I know Jacob will miss it, but will be back to play again next year. All the boys received a medal for their hard work (see pics below).

Lent
Gracie decided to give up "sucking her thumb" for lent this year. She normally sucks her thumb at night when she goes to bed so George helped her out and taped up both her thumbs for her so I had to get a few pictures of it while she was sleeping. The child was in total disbelief this morning when she woke up...if only you could have seen the expression on her face as she was telling me how she went the whole night without sucking her thumb...it was too cute. As for me...I am going to focus on "eating clean". Jacob has given up sweets and to be honest, nobody in the house has a choice but to eat healthy because I got rid of all the junk food and replaced it all with healthier options! Oh but wait...my dad did sent me and Gracie two HUGE CHOCOLATE HEARTS for Valentine's Day. Mine is up in my closet so I can indulge when lent is over! Gracie hid her in her bedroom so Jacob can't find it LOL.

"Determination"
See pic below. Gracie came home from school last week this picture that she made in art and she tells me "mom this took a lot of DETERMINATION to do" (the word determination being her "new word of the week" cause I recall her using in a few times the past few days) and I, of course, asked her why did it take so much determination? After a long drawn out explanation she essentially told me that no two colors alike could touch. After looking at it and telling her what an awesome job she did I looked at it again thought to myself "better her then me cause I would never have had the PATIENCE to do such a project" (this was just a portion of the picture mind you)!

PSU v. Ohio Hockey Game at Giant Center, Hershey, PA
OK...so my buddy Audie invites me to come along to see a PSU/Ohio hockey game at the Giant Center in Hershey. I don't know too much about PSU hockey and did a little research prior to the game and found otu they are a fairly average hockey team and have only been around for about a year or so. So I figured what the heck...I love hockey, it's time well spent with buddy Audie so what do I have to lose. Well, PSU kicked butt...they won the game 6-1 and guess what? I DIDN'T SEE ONE PSU GOAL! Nope! Sure didn't! I went to use the restroom two times and wouldn't you know the first time I go to the restroom PSU scored TWO goals and the second time I go to use the restroom they scored FOUR GOALS! Oh, but I did get to see Ohio score their ONE goal (BLEEP!). Ugg....I am the only person I know that can do something like that! Regardless, I had a great time and that's all that matters!
