Once upon a time ago…..

33 Years Ago…

My son Georgie was on business in Charleston, South Carolina this month. I mentioned to him that was where his dad an I were station (Navy) and where he was born. I even gave him the address of the apartment we lived in. So, Georgie surprised me and drove by Archdale by the Forest Apartments and took pictures and a video and texted it to me. I teared up because it brought back so many beautiful memories.  This is the apartment we brought Georgie home from the hospital, he had his very first Christmas there and George and I even got married in that apartment! Best days of my life!

In honor of her dad…Grace has this sticker on her car.

After 45 Years….

It’s hard to believe, but it was 45 years ago this year since I’ve seen my Uncle Jimmy. So, we decided to meet in Kutztown, Pennsylvania, for a meal and to catch up. I brought Grace along so she could meet her great uncle, and we finally got to meet my uncle Jimmy‘s wife, our Aunt Kathleen. It was a wonderful visit, and we are looking forward to the next visit.
