A Visit From My Navy Buddy - Tina - April, 2019

Below are a few pics of me and my friend Tina.  Tina and I were in the Navy together.  We went through boot camp together and we were both stationed together at our first duty station in Kings Bay, Georgia back in 1990.  I won't talk about all the trouble we got into together.  Yes...we got into LOTS of trouble together.  I wouldn't change those memories for anything though.  

Tina was driving from TN to NY to visit with her family and stayed overnight in PA.  Gracie and I met up with Tina, her daughter (Courtney) and grandson (William) for dinner and a nice visit.  It was so great to see her - I'm so blessed to call her my friend.

NY Rangers v. Philadelphia Flyers - March 31, 2019

My buddy Bill and I drove to Philly to see the NY Rangers play the Philadelphia Flyers.  It was a Sunday game (12:30) and we didn't hit any traffic!  We had great seats (7 rows from ice) and awesome parking.  The Rangers shut the Flyers our 3-0.  I believe this will be an annual thing for me and Bill! Hoping to hit MSG next year!

Saying Goodbye To A Dear Friend

My friend Barbara and her husband (Frank) are leaving Pennsylvania and moving to Georgia. I've known Barbara over 20 years and she's been nothing but a kind and loving friend to me.  It saddens me to see her go, but I know it's time for her and Frank to move on to the next chapter in their lives and to be near their family.  They will both be dearly missed.

Through the years I have been to many many outings at the Giant Center and the TobyMac concert was by far one of the best events I have seen there.

Christmas 2018

Christmas this year is was quiet.  Georgie was unable to make it home from Michigan so it was me, Jake, Grace, Moose, and Bandit home for the holiday. Fortunately, Georgie will be traveling home in January - can't wait to see him.  I had a few days off from work and was able to relax and enjoy the holiday.  Looking forward to 2019!

Thanksgiving in North Carolina

Grace and I traveled to North Carolina this year to spend Thanksgiving with my dad.  It was at least four years since I've seen my dad so the trip was long overdue. It was a nice, peaceful, relaxing holiday.  The weather was PERFECT!  We hit the beach a few times in the jeep and stopped to take a few pics.  The weather was so nice that we only needed a sweatshirt.  Big difference from the weather back in Pennsylvania.

I turned 51 years old on October 17th.  Georgie's bday present to me a was a NY Ranger game!  He took me, Jacob & Grace to NYC on 11/5 & 11/6 where we did sightseeing (toured the 9/11 Museum - bucketlist item) and attended the hockey game (club seats - so close to the ice). Below are pics of my bday presents and how we celebrated my special day.

Bears Hockey Game

Grace and I went to see the Hershey Bears play the Wilkes-Barre Penguins on Saturday night (October 27th).  Bears won in a shootout - pretty good game!
