Cookies, Milk, Note and Tattoo for Santa

Gracie made sure Santa was set with cookies, milk and she even wrote him a little letter and left him a tattoo...not sure what was up with the tat.  Oh...she also put a signature line at the bottom of the letter for Santa to sign.

Opening Stocking Stuffers - Christmas Eve 2012

Merry Christmas Pop Pop

Christmas Eve 2012

First things first...IT WAS ACTUALLY SNOWING AS THE KIDS OPENED THEIR STOCKING STUFFERS!  Our normal tradition on Christmas Eve is go open stocking stuffers and read Twas The Night Before Christmas. Last year I was kindly informed by my husband and and sons that they really were not into the whole reading of Twas The Night Before Christmas.  So me and my princess (ah...that would be Princess Gracie) read the story and the best part of the whole experience was "my princess read the entire story to me".  Below are some pics of the kids (yes that included Moosie) opening their stocking stuffers.

Frosty The Snowman Holiday Dance Performance 2012

Me and two of my besties (Audra and Kori) attended Gracie's holiday dance performance last night "Frosty The Snowman". I took a video but it came out horrible, I was so disappointed...but I did manage to take some pics prior to the performance. See below:

McCurdy's - Picking and Cutting Down Our Christmas Tree

This was a first for the Clapper fam.  We (well "I") decided we were going to go and cut down our own Christmas tree this year. A friend highly recommended it and said it would be a wonderful experience. Anyone that knows my husband knows he was hating every minute of this but kept his thoughts to himself (LOL). We had a beautiful day (THANK GOD) and I think we did a pretty good job picking out a nice Christmas tree.
All five of us together at once - now that's a rarity!
 My boys!
Me! My hands were cold...please don't think I was going to get down
on the ground and start sawing away because that was NOT gonna happen!
 My Gracie!
 My Jacob!
 My Georgie!

Here she is...she's perfect and she smelled like citrus (it was called a "concolor" tree - I think...)
