Me and Gracie did the holiday decorating over Thanksgiving break. George went out and bought the Christmas tree and the boys helped with the lights and ornaments. It's always nice going through all the ornaments and looking at the dates and reminiscing back in time.

Thanksgiving 2013
Thanksgiving is always a day of staying in our PJs, eating and watching TV all day long and getting an occassional nap in here an there. Gracie helped me prep the food and she always sets the dinner table too. She took a few snapshots to share.
Mary Poppins
The week before Thanksgiving I took Grace and Jacob to see Mary Poppins at the Fulton Theater in Lancaster. I'm the first to admit, I don't care for musicals whatsoever, but now that I have a little girl it's hard not to want to do things like this with her so I try to go in with an open mind and a smile on my face. All I can say is it was SPECTACULAR! Words cannot described how amazing the performance was and we had to top it off we had front row seats. I also thought it was pretty awesome that as we exited the theater after the performance we went outside and we walked out into the first snow flurries of the year.
The Banana Project (Uggggg)
Over Thanksgiving break I helped Gracie work on her science project called the "Banana Browning Process". It's a project we started early in November (had to do a one week test to see if bananas browned faster on the counter-top or in the refrigerator). Her Hyothosis was "they browned faster in the refrig" but her "Conclusion" "they browned faster on the counter-top".

Hershey Park In The Dark
A friend was kind enough to give me 6 tickets to go to Hershey Park in the Dark so Georgie and his friend Rebecca drove in from West Chester to join me, Gracie, Jake and their friend Bailey, for an evening at Hershey Park. We had a great time and we managed to get on all the rides without any waits! Going to Hershey Park this time of the year is much better then the summer months! We will be doing this again next year! During the summer months we can go to Hershey Park and we are lucky if we get on 3 or 4 rides all day! Below is a pic...Enjoy!
Halloween 2013
Halloween is always a success when it come to my two little ones. I believe between the two of them they came home with about 20 pounds of candy. Lil' George is away at college but dressed up to hit the bars - he was "CHUCKY" from the TV show "Rugrats". Gracie was an 80s ROCK DIVA (a brand new costume I had in one of my bins for the past 5 five year) and Jake went with being a BASEBALL PLAYER so costumes cost me NOTHING this year! Well...Moosie's custome "LIL MONSTER" ran me a whole $2.99! It's hard to believe October has come and gone. Looking forward to the upcoming holidays!
NY Rangers v. Flyers
My buddy Bill got me tickets to see the NY Rangers play the Philadelphia Flyers. Unfortunately, Bill could not make it to the game with me but Lil' George took me up on the offer. Sadly, my Rangers lost, but it was some nice quality time spent with my son.

Disney On Ice - Let's Celebrate
It's that time of year again where me and Princess go to one of our Disney shows. I try to go to a show in the fall and spring. Seats this year were OK...nothing too great. The show was good, but nothing compared to the last show we went to in the spring.

Wildwood Park - 3 Mile Trail Walk
Well this past weekend Gracie was at a sleepover so I took Jake over to Wildwood Park and we went on a trail walk. It was a bit hot (87 degrees) and very humid. We followed a dirt trail and some pavement trails and then I decided to follow a trail into the woods and that's where we ran into a few snakes. Needlesstosay, we made our way back out to the pavement trail with a quickness. Below are some pics of our little excursion.

Hawk Rock Hike - September 28, 2013
Welp...I finally got to go on my very first hike and my buddy Bill was kind enough to join me on my little journey. I wanted something fairly easy for my first hike so I opted for a hike out of Duncannon, PA called "Hawk Rock". It wasn't too bad for my first hike. I mean walking UP (yes "UP") a mountain trail that is nothing but ROCKS was little intimidating at first, but I fared through it...though I was drenched in sweat by the time we got to the rock (yuck). Mind you what I thought was well over 2 miles up to the rock was only ONE mile up. We ran into a few hikers that were kind enough to tell us about a few "must do" hikes that are in the local area. I'm hoping to get another hike in before it gets too cold out.
